Weston is following in Leatham's footsteps and can balance himself perfectly in Paul's hand for quite a while. He started doing this trick when he was almost 5 months
We went camping at Ocean Shores toward the end of July with the Dunn Family. The kids loved making smores, playing in the sand, searching for seashells on the seashore (say that out loud 5 times). It was Weston's first camping excursion and he did great. Paul got to go fishing with Mike and a friend who had a fishing boat- they each caught a King Salmon!
I took Megan, Johan and the kids to the Kangaroo Farm and it was pretty cool
Then the sad day arrived when my sister moved out...she was my summer fling :) when she left I felt like I was breaking up with a high school boyfriend all over again. She was so much fun to have around- I love Megan's sense of humor! It was nice to have some adult conversations during the day- not to mention how awesome she was with the kids. She was always doing crafts with Leath, or reading him books, or playing blocks. We miss her a lot!Mid-August we drove to Utah and got to spend some time with my family down there. We stayed a couple nights with my grandpa in Ogden, UT- Leatham and his cousin Damian had a blast playing in his yard and checking out the bunnies/chickens. Then we drove down to Cedar Hills and spent a few nights with my sister Sarah. The boys loved playing with her kids and still talk about going back to Grace and Claire's house.
We went to my parents house over Labor Day- Got a few family pictures taken by my sister which was nice! We hiked up Falls Creek with the boys- Leatham loved listening to the waterfall.
With Grandma B!
We got to do a little boating while we were there- Leatham mostly loved to play on the beach.
